Although my reputation as a nylon-string guitarist has been built on the adaption of popular songs arranged as classical guitar pieces, I am increasingly being called on to provide traditional classical guitar concerts and recitals.
If you feel this would be a suitable event for your church, village hall, or house concert please do get in touch. A typical programme would comprise two 45-minute sets – or longer if preferred – and might include pieces such as:
Choros No. 1 – Heitor Villa-Lobos
Cavatina – Stanley Myers
Capricho Arabe – Francisco Tarrega
Granada – Isaac Albeniz
Gymnopédie No. 1 – Erik Satie
Prelude in D (BWV 998) – J S Bach
Birds Flew Over the Spire – Gary Ryan
Rio by Night – Vincent Lindsey-Clark
Prelude No. 3 – Heitor Villa-Lobos
Lagrima & Adelita – Francisco Tarrega
Dedicatoria – Carmen Guzman
Moonlight Sonata – Ludwig van Beethoven
Parisian Waltz – Tatiana Stachak
Romanza – Anon.
A Day in November – Leo Brouwer
El Negrito – Antonio Lauro
Sons de Carrilhões - João Pernambuco
… plus a sprinkling of West End Musical tunes (from Les Misèrables, Evita, West Side Story et al), some classic film soundtracks (Alfie, The Sound of Music, Hushabye Mountain) and jazz standards (Georgia On My Mind, Cry Me a River, Misty).
Please note I have:
