BarnFire is a Kent-based guitar and fiddle duo, encompassing many different styles. Depending on the booking, BarnFire can include music from the Scottish and Irish repertoire, some Jazz standards, English Folk tunes, a helping of Classical pieces, a bit of Country, a good old pop song here and there, some Klezmer of course… and more!

 

We can provide music for:
 

  • barn dances,

  • ceilidh events,

  • Irish nights,

  • folk festivals,

  • folk clubs,

  • weddings,

  • concerts,

  • bar gigs,

  • care homes,

  • promotional events,

  • house concerts.

Philip Bennett

Virtuoso fiddler, Phil’s c.v. boasts many orchestral performances in the South-East and beyond. He was a staple in Barn Dance outfit Easy Street from the ‘80s until 2020, while being active on the Country Music circuit in the UK and Europe with The Ray Peters Band between 2009 and 2015.

Shaun Murray

Shaun is a respected and versatile guitarist, known for his solo work but also as a veteran of the Country Music and Folk circuits. An in-demand 'depper' and session player, Shaun's c.v. includes Barn Dance band Easy Street, The Ray Peters Country Band, The Sally Ironmonger Trio and touring theatre show The Country Superstars.
